Sydney: The Next Generation

Sydney has been able to recognize a few songs recently.  For awhile there was a commercial on TV where a dog doesn't want to leave it's dog house because it needs to protect it's bone.  Sydney loved the song in that commercial.  Even if she was playing, eating, or throwing a fit that makes a bomb explosion seem like a sweet lullaby; she would stop everything and stare up at the dog and listen to the song.  Her new song may say something about my viewing habits.  The song is the Star Trek The Next Generation theme song.  Some might say that I watch too much TNG.  However I say that is crazy talk.  Here is a list of some of the wonderful times when watching TNG is appropriate: Right now, after you finish the current episode you are watching, any day ending in "y", while on a bike ride, while you teach a class of middle schoolers, while you do dishes, during a wedding reception, and while you sleep.  Sydney loves the theme song.  Whenever it comes on she looks up at the TV, and while she watches the Enterprise zoom past she smiles, dances, and once she even sang a little bit.  Here is the cute video we took tonight.
