What is this?!!? Canada?!!?!!

So it snowed again this week.  Yes again, as in twice.  I'm one of those complaining Minnesota people that must not realize they live in Minnesota.  Bah!  It's almost May.  Thankfully Sydney didn't care about the cruel realities of the outdoors and was content to play inside and look cute.

Royal Sydney

Sydney's Royals clothes have finally arrived!  So of course she wanted to show them off.  Unfortunately she'll have to wait until July to see the Royals at Target Field.

My Favorite Subject

Well it has happened.  After three long days the wait is over.  Sydney pooped.  She hadn't defecated for three straight days.  I was at softball practice breaking in my extremely comfortable cleats and Cherilyn called with the report.  My first question: "Did you take a picture?"  Unfortunately she hadn't.  It had however taken 8 wipes to clean up.  She said that it was the biggest poo she had ever seen to date.  She was tempted to just put her in the bathtub rather than clean her manually with the wipes.  Amazingly it only slightly soiled the Green Zebra dress.  It was mostly contained within the bum genius.  Today she is starting a new streak as she has once again yet to poop.  She did fake me out twice with some monster farts.  If I had been holding her Cherilyn wouldn't have been able to tell who had performed them.  And on that note, goodnight!

Dress of the Day

I missed displaying one of her dresses from Sunday.  This is Dress 4 - Daddy's Favorite

And now today Sydney was wearing a nice brown jump suit.  However she decided that it was a dress day and promptly peed all over it.  Also daddy got some new cleats!  Softball season is near!

Dress 5 - The Green Zebra

Target Field

Cherilyn and I had a great time at Target Field.  I say awesome often but walking in the plaza up to the right field gate was genuinely awesome.  I had some Awe.  It is a beautiful place.  We had a very good time.  Unfortunately the Royals lost but the game was spectacular.  10 innings and both teams played well.  Sydney did very well at the babysitters.  They had two little girls, one of whom is also named Sydney so when we pulled up they were patiently and excitedly waiting for us out on the front lawn.  Of course I forgot the bottles of milk on the kitchen counter causing us to miss the first inning, but all was splendiforous.  At the game we were sitting in the lower deck behind home plate.  We were under the overhang but still had a great view of the field, just not the rest of the stands. Michelle and Garett were at the game too, so we got to hang out with them for a few innings as well.  We had a great night.
