Softball Fun

We had 18 people show up to play softball on Sunday.  It was wonderful.  Afterwards we went to Ann's house and ate tacos.  It was quite a fabulous shindig.

Fun time with Oliver

Last Tuesday we went out to spend time with the other science teachers that I work with in Woodbury.  We also got to see Oliver who was born about a week after Sydney.  He was scooting around pushing himself with his arms and Sydney was rolling around and then bouncing in the jumperoo.  We had a lot of fun.  Last week was really busy, hence the lack of posts.  Wednesday Cherilyn's clinic had their big fancy graduation.  Thursday I played in a golf tournament.  Friday and Saturday something happened that I am now blanking on.  Then Sunday was softball.

Father's Day and the Brewery

Whew, it's been awhile.  We have had quite a busy week.  Last Saturday we went to the Flat Earth brewery.  We had a good time there and then hung out at Chris and Kati's house for awhile that night too.  Sydney slept for awhile at the brewery but also showed her desire to be like poppa and enjoy some brew.

Sunday was my first Father's Day.  Cherilyn made me breakfast in bed, and as a present she let me go see a movie since I haven't been to the theater since last fall or even last summer.  I saw Green Lantern and it was splendid.  That night we played softball and went out with the team afterwards.  Overall it was a great Father's Day.

Enter the Tooth

Sydney has started to show some tooth recently.  So we broke out the teething ring.  After putting it in the fridge for awhile she loves it.  She has also started biting down on her spoon when I feed her veggies and turkey.  Her teeth are out far enough to make it very difficult for me to retrieve the spoon from her maw.  I attempted to take a close up of her mouth but it resulted only in a few swats of the camera and her scolding me with a very stern "bahbahbahbahbah".  I took my demerits and will attempt it later when she deems it appropriate.
