Shoes

Sydney has also been helping us get ready to go.  She likes to help us put our shoes on.  She will also take try to take our shoes off and put on different shoes.

Stair Stepper

Sydney's new innovation is using her toys as steps to get on the couch, and just get up to a higher elevation.  She likes to climb up on the couch and then lower herself back down.  This was the cause of a few leaps across the room as I thought she was falling, but she lowers herself down just fine.  Usually after this she gives me a look that makes me feel like a crazy person for having just thrown my coffee mug down and launched across the living room.  It's good practice because I'm sure I'll get plenty more of these looks once she's a teenager.  She also likes to climb up on her box of blocks.  Once she gets up there she stands up and looks so proud to be 3 inches taller. 

Mimic

Lately Sydney has been trying to imitate us when we say things.  The first time I noticed we were walking down the stairs and she pointed up at the lights.  I said "Do you see the lights?"  She nodded a few times as we continued downstairs.  Once we were downstairs she ran over to the stairs again and pointed up and said Lights.  Or as close to it as she could pronounce.  Looks like my road rage days have to come to an end.  And now more cute pictures.
